Has Revival Begun?

Are We Seeing the Beginning of a Revival?

Revival is not a concert.
It's not lights, crowds, or emotion.
Revival is when God breaks His people.
Then builds them back in truth.

Some Are Stirring

We see the sparks:

  • Young people crying out to God.

  • Worship without hype.

  • A hunger for holiness.

  • A few altars full of tears.

This is good.
It’s not fake.
But it’s not full-blown revival.

Yet.

But the Stats Are Devastating

Barna says:

  • 9% of Christians hold a biblical worldview.

  • 10% read their Bibles daily.

  • 30% know who the Holy Spirit really is.

That’s not revival.
That’s a Church on life support.

Most Are Asleep

The pews are full.
The hearts are empty.
Too many think they’ve got a ticket to heaven.
But they’ve never met the King.

They were baptized.
They attend.
They behave.
But they are not born again.

The Church Has Become a Spectacle

We’ve traded the cross for a brand.
Truth for comfort.
Holiness for tolerance.
Power for performance.

“They have a form of godliness but deny its power…”
2 Timothy 3:5

This is not revival.
It’s religious deception.

So… Are We in Revival?

No.
Not yet.

But we might be in the early rain.
The first drops before the downpour.
God is awakening a remnant.

This Is What Revival Looks Like

Not crowds — but conviction.
Not noise — but repentance.
Not feelings — but fruit.

Revival is when:

  • Sin is confessed.

  • Idols are smashed.

  • Christ is exalted.

  • The Word is opened.

  • The fear of the Lord returns.

Wake-Up Call to the Church

Jesus is knocking —
But will we open? (Rev. 3:20)

God is shaking —
Will we still cling to comfort?

It’s time to stop playing Church.
The Bride must make herself ready.

What Do We Do?

We pray like revival depends on it.
We preach like eternity is near.
We disciple like the harvest is here.
We repent like judgment starts with us.

“Break up your fallow ground,
for it is time to seek the Lord…”
Hosea 10:12

Be the Remnant

Even if the masses sleep — stay awake.
Even if the churches entertain — burn with truth.
Even if no one listens — cry aloud.

God doesn’t need the majority.
He needs the obedient.

Final Word

Revival starts in the secret place,
Before it shakes the public square.

It starts with a remnant.
With prayer.
With truth.
With tears.
With fire.

Let it start with us.
